I am the youngest daughter of Don & Libby Eastham. My family lived in Jamestown. & owned Merryland Roller Rink from 1975-1985. It was then that we moved back to Maryland. I am married to my incredible husband Charlie since 2000, & in 2015, we moved back to Russell Co. Our children are 2 fur babies--a dog named Diesel & a cat named Sheba. We have lived in Jamestown since 2015. Before that, we lived in Alpharetta, a suburb of Atlanta, northeast of the city, where I practiced real estate for 10 years. I serve on the Russell County Search & Rescue team & am a member of Grace Family Fellowship church in Russell Springs. I met Kim Arehart online in 2007 while surfing the internet for a home to buy as my husband and I planned to relocate from California to Atlanta Georgia, sometime in the near future. At that time, we did not have any knowledge about what Atlanta offered or what life in the south would be like. We moved to Atlanta because of the lower cost of living. Kim provided assistance to us without knowing whether or not we would keep this commitment.
A few months before the move, I flew to Atlanta to meet Kim and she assisted with finding a rental home for us. To make a long story short, we moved into the rental in late 2009.
In 2011, Kim assisted with our purchase of a short sale home at such a low cost that we were able to sell that home six years later and move into a new home with no mortgage. I grew up in Russell County. I lived here with my family from 1975-1985, when my parents owned Merryland Roller Rink. We moved away after that, but in 2015 my husband & I moved back to Russell Co & we are thrilled to be here. In addition to working all the jobs at the skating rink, I have worked several jobs that have allowed me to meet people from all over the world & from all walks of life. I was a hairdresser for 19 years, I worked as a security guard at a racetrack in Maryland, I was a karaoke hostess, & I volunteered at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. I was also a realtor in Georgia for 10 years. My experience in all these different arenas has helped me build excellent communication skills & get a feel for how to best serve my clients & customers.
